Bombay sandwich

Ingredients


  • white sandwich bread trim the edges 
  • 2 boiled potatoes round sliced
  • 1 cucumber round sliced
  • 2 tomatoes round sliced
  • 1 onion round sliced
  • butter at room temperature
  • black pepper and salt as needed
  • chaat masala powder 1 tsp or as per your preference
  • tomato ketchup 
  • green chutney


Method:


  • place one slice of sandwich bread on flat surface and spread the butter generously
  • arrange 1 or 2 slices of potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cucumber and sprinkle salt, pepper and chaat masala on it.
  • spread a tsp of green chutney on another bread slice and place it on top of the vegetables
  • you can cut it in half triangle shape or 4 square shape or finger sandwich shape as you like
  • sprinkle sev on top of it and serve  it with tomato ketchup

Gajar ka halwa -

Today I am preparing gajar ka halwa for my little princess. She love sweets so for her I am learning new recipes .
I was searching gajar ka halwa recipe n net and I found this one inetersting
I hope my daughter will like it

gajar ka halwa/carrot halwa
Ingredients:
carrots 1 kg
milk 21/2 cup boiled
sugar as per your taste I add 1 cup sugar
cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Almond
pistacho
cashew 
ghee 3 tbsp

Method
1. Wash peel and grate the carrots. Heat a pan with ghee and pour grated carrot and cook for few minutes.
2. Add milk and boil on low flame till it becomes thick stir it in between 
3. once it starts thickening add sugar and stir continuously
4. cook on low flame to medium 
5.Add cardamom powder and nuts  and stir it continuously till the ghee separates from the mixture
   
finally garnish with nuts and serve hot hot, its so yummy
